The Minister of Justice Dr. Muhammad Al-Shalaldeh received a delegation from Al-Istiqlal University headed by the Dean of the faculty of Law and Criminal Sciences, Dr. Abdullah Mahmoud, accompanied by Dr. Islam Al-Biyari, Dr. Saber Al-Aloul, and Dr. Osama Darraj.
The Minister of Justice praised the efforts of Al-Istiqlal University and its role in upgrading the Palestinian educational process, and the high-quality scientific services it provides at the national level. His Excellency also stressed the importance of discussing cooperation mechanisms in several areas, including legal studies, forensic medicine, and the forensic laboratory.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah and the delegation accompanying him thanked His Excellency the Minister, for his warm welcome. Dr. Abdullah also expressed the faculty’s aspiration for bilateral cooperation, and strengthening partnership in the legal aspect, in order to develop the students’ legal concepts and their performance on both theoretical and practical levels by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge.
It is noteworthy that Al-Istiqlal University, represented by the Chairman of its Board of Trustees, His Excellency Major General Dr. Tawfiq Al-Tirawi strives to cooperate with the varied state institutions, in order to benefit its students and qualify them to join the Palestinian security services after graduation.
